M. Shyam Prasad Reddy who produced blockbusters like Thalambralu, Aahuthi, Ankusham, Aagraham, Ammoru is producing a film titled Arundhathi with Anushka Shetty doing the title role.

Producer Shyam Prasad Reddy’s magnum opus Arundhathi is setting for grand release before Sankranthi. This long-in-making graphical extravaganza has completed its entire production and postproduction work. They are planning to release the movie on January 9, 2009. Like his previous graphical fantasy movies – Ammoru and Anji, this Anushka starrer too is made on large scale with about 20 Crores budget. Anushka is playing the title role of Arundhati and for the first time she does the dual role.

The movie offers never seen before visual experience for Telugu audiences. Special effects and graphical work are said to be on par with international standards.
